Excellent breakfast, excellent location, pleasant terrace with great views, comfortable beds, decent sized closets, very helpful staff
Wehad a problem with a taxi the hotel ordered but I have written to them directly about this
Location was central, breakfast was good, staff were friendly, parking in basement was helpful.
Price was a little high, definitely paying for location. I thought it odd that only liquid soap was available, but that was not such a big deal.
Excellent location, free parking, good breakfast, friendly staff.
For the price I would expect free wireless.
Very good location to explore old town, easy access by car, very professional staff, quiet and clean room, good breakfast - everything what would be needed for few days stay.
very pleasant, friendly & helpful reception; very good breakfast; very well located near the old city
I found the room poorly lit and not very nice looking. However, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom amenities satisfactory.
The staff were really friendly and very helpful, the room was clean and comfortable...we were out most of the time so only needed a basic room. Food was excellent, and when the restaurant was closed, the YMCA across the road had a wonderful terrace restaurant and provided any of the menu to be taken away in ready-meal containers :-) Best of all was the location...step outside the hotel and you can see the Old City walls. 10-15 minute walk to Jaffa Gate. 5 minute walk to the lovely Manilla shopping area. Taxi's on-tap. The reception arranged a private tour for us which was excellent.
the phone in room 218 was out of order and it was very inconvenient not to be able to talk in room
The check in is slow but staff are very helpful and friendly.
hotel is conveniently located, very cheerful rooms, comfortable beds. staff is very helpful. Breakfast has enough choices for everyone.
Bathroom a bit small.
It is very conveniently located, has a parking garage and pretty good breakfast. rooms were surprisingly spacious and clean. the only thing we did not like, was the state of carpets in the room - they looked old and not so clean. Overall it was a nice experience.
Carpets in the room and the cost of internet. I think if price for room was $5 more and internet free - it would be a much better for customers. We spent one night only and did not want to pay $20 just to see our emai once.
friendly staff and goumet
location and price all staff were very friendly
the parking was terrible and i damaged my car
Good location near Jaffa gate to old city. Breakfast was pretty good.
Room was a little run down and carpet was dirty. Bathroom was very small. Charge for internet and phone use. Parking was very limited.
The hotel was located quite well in the west of Jerusalem. During the night it was pretty quiet, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
The service was horrible. We had asked twice for packed breakfast since we had to leave early to go on tours and both times the receptionist forgot to tell it to the cook. Even after we had asked three times for them to do it. Whenever you asked for information regarding the city, how to get around or only for a cup of tea they were never able to help you out. I do not understand how a receptionist can be so incompetent at their job, having been one myself it truly amazes me how bad all of them were at the Eldan Hotel.
Very lovely hotel conveniently located very close to the Jaffa Gate of the Old City. The bonus - each day we went through the beautiful mall (which has ATM machine; we did not feel comfortable to take money from the ATM machine in the Old City). Room was very nice size, beds are comfortable, breakfast was very good; staff friendly. Kings David hotel is across the street, it was interesting to visit.
Nothing; everything was perfect.
